Established
in 1880, F.H.Crocker & Co continue to
produce fibrous plaster work in the traditional
manner, using traditional materials such
as plaster of paris, jute scrim and timber
laths. These materials ensure a robust,
durable product with an attractive finish.
Our skilled craftsmen tailor
work to the requirements of the individual
customer and hence, a reputation for work
of excellence has long been established.
We specialise in the reproduction, manufacture
and installation of mouldings to match existing
styles and also carry an extensive stock
range of standard mouldings from our archive
store.
In addition to our fibrous
plaster work for internal purposes, F.H.Crocker
& Co have developed unique systems for
reproduction of external ornamental plaster
work, with the resultant products being
extremely durable and pleasing to the eye.
Our portfolio of work includes countless restoration
projects on listed buildings and churches as well as new-build projects demonstrating
an unparalleled variety of skills from manufacture to installation.

F.H.Crocker & Co's capabilities also extend to external
decorative mouldings. Our pre-cast mouldings incorporate a robust GRC material
for durability.
The finest and probably the most extensive example of our work
appears throughout Elliot Terrance, a Victorian style facade, which overlooks
Plymouth Sound.
Various contracts have seen the extensive renovation of this
prominent terrance in conjuction with the parent company, J.H.
Lidstone (Plastering) Ltd.
Another fine example of our external work stands at the edge of Bicton College of Agriculture, Devon.
Sidmouth Lodge, like many
old buildings, had stood neglected for many
years. The total structure was hacked off
and re-rendered, with all its decorative
mouldings and features reproduced, restoring
it to its former grandeur.
